What is RADIESSE?

RADIESSE is the first and only FDA-approved volumizing filler for the back of the hands. It is an opaque, white-colored injectable dermal filler composed of synthetic calcium hydroxylapatite microspheres suspended in a water-based gel carrier. 

RADIESSE helps reduce the prominence of veins and tendons, rejuvenating your hands and restoring their volume and youthfulness. 

What can I expect from the procedure?

Before your treatment, we’ll answer your questions and gather information about your medical history and any medications you’re taking. You’ll remove all your jewelry, and we’ll clean the back of your hands where the injections will be given. We’ll also determine whether to use a topical or local anesthetic. 

During the treatment, we’ll inject the RADIESSE filler under the skin in multiple locations on the back of your hand with a fine needle. Then, we’ll gently massage the treatment area to distribute the product evenly. 

Afterward, we’ll give you icepacks to keep the initial swelling down, and we’ll send you on your way with care instructions. A touch-up treatment may be required to get the look you want. 

Your results will be evident immediately, and they can last up to a full year!
